    The focus is on policy making in Bangladesh and how political and administrative conditions impact the introduction and implemention of universal primary education for all.
  • "Institution Building in Primary Education in South Africa"
    The study analyses the legitimacy basis of recent reform efforts in South Africa. A critical assuption is that institution building is about aquiring legitimacy and that formal organisations such as schools are transformed into institutions when they gain legitimacy.
  • "Twinning as a Method of Inter-Organisational Learning in Development Assistance"
    The aim is to link recent case studies of institutional cooperation in Norwegian development assistance to theories of inter-organisational learning.
